For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to nostalgia. Always feeling that remembering is an act of self preservation and survival. A way to boldly say that yes I was here, yes I will leave, and yes I will remember. I use my creative process in photography and mixed media as a means to navigate a world that seems to move too quickly and leave so much as a footnote or afterthought. Through my work I construct a world that can be frozen in time. Where for a moment there is pause for the process of trauma, greif, loss or abandonment. Where remembering is healing.
