Half Awake is a project Sleepy has been working on throughout 2025. Half Awake focuses on a collection of nostalgic cartoon mashups drawn in Sleepy style. Each piece is handdrawn on old parking passess from downtown Portland and backed with handmade paper upcycled from recycled bills and junk mail throughout the year. This show is focused on turning "trash" into something new. The work blends that hazy, half-awake feeling of nostalgia with a fresh take on familiar faces. There will also be a series of original pieces available. Grab them while you can, sadly, they no longer print parking passes on this medium.
