Nova Noelle is a chronically ill and self taught multimedia artist that enjoys upcycling thrifted items into colorful, unique pieces.

They use their art and humor to cope with the frustrations of life and chronic illness. Nova practices radical acceptance when creating. Every twitch, tremor, and flare is an involuntary part of the process, but a part of disability that is unavoidable. In their eyes, this can make pieces more interesting and human. “Radical Whimsy” is about building a world that allows one to take a step outside of reality, engage with curiosity and play, and take pride in every imperfection.
