About The Exhibit
Miz Chaos is an acrylic painter, mixed media artist and sticker enthusiast from Portland, OR. She graduated from Luther College in 2010 with a BA / double major in Communication and Art. She's done two month long art residencies - one at the Lookout Arts Quarry in Bellingham, WA and one at the Fiasco Art Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Some of her most accomplished art achievements have been having her art on fabric for Hot Mango Undies, having online merch launches with RX Skulls and in the last year getting her art into galleries in Seattle, Austin, Denver and New York. She's also done two immersive blacklight room installations for the Portland Winter Lights Festival 2023 + 2024. In her spare time she's done volunteer work and fundraiser efforts for the Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) and has volunteered for years teaching afterschool art classes for middle school and elementary aged youth through the non-profit Free Arts NW. She hopes to make the world a brighter place with her vibrant, playful and whimsical art. She believes in accessible art for everyone and bringing more positivity, community and love into the everyday. Stay tuned for the Sticker and Street Art Showcase "Slap to the Future" she's co-producing with Cats Cult at Fried Melon Art Studios June 7th.
