Game Over is an art show depicting two of my favorite loves;  glass art & video games. Since I can remember from my first introduction to Mario Bros. on Nintendo to buying my first playstation system, gaming has been an essential part of my art inspiration & mental health.Video Games & glass art both require patience, hand eye coordination skills & represent freedom & escape. With this show I hope to bring childhood nostalgia, whimsy & a better understanding of how important video games can be especially in today’s world were it’s easy to get overwhelmed with fear & sadness.The gaming, & glass communities have both welcomed me with open arms in times of great turmoil & loss. Thus, through both these art forms I can freely express my ideas & emotions without fear of judgement, while showing inclusivity, beautiful visual aesthetics, & pure joy.I hope with this show and future gaming inspired work to give the average non-gamer as well as gamers a look into two beautiful styles of art, video games & glass that in many ways go hand in hand.Now more than ever we need to spread good vibes and community through art as much as possible. Dream big, go farther, & good will always prevail over evil.
